GB3TV is situated on Dunstable Downs at 210 metres above mean sea level.



Input Frequency 1249 MHz : Output Frequency 1318.5 MHz

The pa is a '20 watt block' throttled back to about 12 watts.

The antennas are full wave, silver plated Alford slots protected by some plastic drain pipe!

Access is achieved with a video signal with reasonable line syncs and a video level above black level. ie fading to black will cause the repeater to drop out.

The long forgotten 23cms beacon is still operational at (Zouches Farm) IO91RV. It is using an Alford slot and reported to be sending the morse ident: GB3DUN. Power out is reported in the callbook as 2 watts.
The last known beacon keeper was R. Penberthy, G3ZFP, Studham.
